Right Proper Restoration & Repair is dedicated to the delicate restoration, repair, and refreshing of aged stuffed animals. The passage of time can leave an animal torn, threadbare, or just looking old and tired and we are here to restore them.
Our skill and expertise carefully reattaches arms, legs, and ears, restores beautiful expressions, and refreshes or replaces fur and fabric.
We also repair and remake clothing and accessories upon request.
Not every animal can be restored to its original look, but each one can be made beautiful once again. This is what we love to do.

Restoration Monkey
We call this guy "Well-loved monkey". He was loved right down to his fabric, with little fur left... we thought. Some vigorous brushing told us otherwise.
Extensive Reconstruction
This poor cat served a dog's lunch, but fortunately survived to tell the tale. We conducted a reconstruction and repair and returned the lovely little cat to her former beauty.
The Magic of Renovation & Repair
Nothing gives us greater joy than watching a beloved stuffed animal come back to life. These two monkeys are a perfect expression of that.

When your beloved animal is in good shape, but his/her clothing and accessories have seen better days, we can help. We repair and/or replicate clothing and can usually recreate the accessories.
If the clothing is too aged to repair, we can usually use it as a pattern to craft a new item. Fabric is always a discussion, because many times the original fabric cannot be found. But we can come close!
Clothing Repair
Well loved stuffed animals often wind up with worn and torn, clothing. We can repair rips and tears, lost bows and buttons.

Clothing Replacement
Occasionally, the clothing is too damaged to repair. In these cases we use the original as a pattern and create a replica of the original. Fabric is the greatest variable and we select it together.

Accessories
Every animal needs his/her accessories! We can usually repair/replace hats, bags, and sometimes even shoes!
Memory Bears - Baby/Children's Clothing
We turn your children's baby clothes into bears that carry the memory into the future. The bear above was made from the owner's son's toddler pants and shirt.
